What this page describes

This policy covers GratuityGuide, the website operated by Orracle Enterprises. It describes what the site's code does, as checked on October 24, 2026. The site does not run an analytics tool or an ad network, and it does not send email itself.

Calculator history stays in your browser

The standard tip calculators save each calculation in your browser when the tip is more than zero. The restaurant and bill-split calculators do not. Each record holds the calculator you used, the numbers you entered, the result, the time and the currency. Your browser keeps the newest 20 records, and this site never receives them. The cookie policy lists the storage name.

On the calculator, open Recent Calculations. Each row has a delete control. Clear History removes every saved record. You can also clear site data for this site in your browser.

Newsletter

If you submit the footer newsletter form, your browser sends your email address to this site. When the newsletter service is switched on, the site passes the address to Buttondown, the newsletter provider, with the tag gratuityguide. When it is switched off, the form says the newsletter is unavailable, and the address is not kept. The site keeps no copy of the address and does not send email itself.

The form has no consent checkbox. After you submit it, the form tells you to check your inbox. Whether a message arrives depends on Buttondown.

Search

The search box puts your words in the address of the search page. The site then asks its WordPress content host for matching pages. This code does not keep a search history.

Sharing a calculator

The share control builds a link that includes the calculator name and the values you entered. If you copy it, the browser clipboard holds that link. If you open a share button, that link goes to the site you chose, or to your email app. This site does not store the link. The click is not sent to an analytics service, because the pages do not load one.

Draft preview cookie

A normal visit sets no cookie. An editor who opens a preview link with the correct secret gets one cookie, __prerender_bypass, which lets that editor see unpublished pages. Leaving preview removes it. The cookie policy has the details.

What the pages do not do

  • The pages do not load a Google Analytics script or any other analytics script.
  • The pages do not load an advertising script.
  • The pages do not include a payment link.
  • The pages do not include an affiliate link or an affiliate cookie.
  • The pages do not show a cookie consent banner. Public pages do not set a tracking cookie.
  • The site does not create an account for you.
  • The site's own code does not record your IP address or keep a visitor log. The hosting service's own logs are outside this check.

Images, typefaces, and other websites

This site's image settings allow images from cms.gratuityguide.com, its content host. If a page shows one of those images, your browser requests it from that host. Pages do not request images from Gravatar.

Typefaces are files on this site. A visit does not request fonts from Google.

Footer links open X and robertdavidorr.com in a new tab when you choose them. Share buttons can open X, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, or your email app. Those sites load when you follow the link. This site does not embed their scripts.

When you leave for another HTTPS site, the browser sends the site name as the referrer, not the full page address. The site asks browsers not to use the camera, microphone, or location.

Changes

When the site's code changes what it collects, this page changes in the same update. The date at the end of the page shows the current version.
